Our ministry would not be possible without our committed ministry partners. Our partners enable our ministry by providing prayer and financial support, being involved in our ministry through various activities, and by offering assistance and expertise in various logistical areas.

If you are interested in becoming a partner in Colby & Theresa's ministry or updating your partnership prefrences, you can do so by filling out our partnership response form. The various partnership aspects listed on the form are described below.

Prayer Partner

Prayer is a key to breaking down the spiritual barriers that exist in the hearts of the Japanese people. Colby & Theresa are in need of those who will commit to intercede daily on their behalf and on behalf of the Japanese people. Christar has asked them to find 100 people who will commit as daily prayer partners. Maybe God is calling you to partner in reaching the Japanese people in this important role.

Financial Partner

A cross-cultural endeavor such as this is not possible without financial support. In order to support their ministry in Japan, Colby & Theresa need $4,700 a month to cover operating and living expenses, as well as $11,000 in one-time set-up costs. Maybe the Lord is burdening you to partner with them in this way. An individual gift of $60 per month would cover 1% of their total support needs. A church gift of $3,000 per year would cover 5%. All gifts are processed through BFC Board of Missions, which issues receipts for tax purposes.

Logistical Partner

Do you have a practical skill that might be helpful to Colby & Theresa personally or in their ministry? Maybe you’re able to provide housing or transportation during home ministry, maybe you’re a mechanic or a car dealer, maybe you can give advice on medical or legal issues, or maybe you’re handy doing repairs or good with numbers. All of these and many other areas can be used to support Colby & Theresa in their ministry.

Advocate Partner

One of the keys to building a partnership network is making contacts. If your church would be interested in having Colby & Theresa come and speak, they’d love to talk with you. Maybe God is burdening your heart to assist Colby & Theresa by being an advocate, someone who helps to promote their ministry to other individuals and groups. They even have materials available for people who would be willing to share Colby & Theresa’s ministry with small groups or help them contact other churches and individuals.
