What others have said about us…

Bob KaatzI met Colby & Theresa before they went to Japan and kept in touch with them during their fist term. When they scheduled a time in the U.S., our church invited them to visit so we could get to know them better. During their visit we saw their desire to facilitate church planting and growth of Japanese church leaders. Our church has since added them to our team of supported missionaries and we rejoice to hear what the Lord is doing through them in Japan. We appreciate their zeal and loving attitude in their ministry for Christ.

Dan HoisingtonVisas to do missionary work in Japan are easily had, but the work of discipleship and church planting there is as tough as it gets. Many have come with the greatest of intentions and left discouraged. Colby and Theresa have chosen to work among those most ravaged by the tsunami that struck East Japan in 2011. They moved in and literally started from scratch to help meet pressing physical and emotional needs, yet never lost sight of their Great Commission vision. I was so impressed by their humility, humor (very important!), vision, flexibility and practical good sense as they rolled up their sleeves and tackled a job that few would ever attempt. It is clear to me that the Lord placed some very special servants to carry out His Kingdom work among a needy and traumatized people. And they are still there. Watching their lives and approach to their task has been a huge encouragement and blessing to me!

Jim MacArthurKnowing Colby and Theresa for many years, I have followed their journey as they prepared for and began to serve among the Japanese. It is evident that they have a heart for God and are seeking to follow His leading in ministry. They have studied hard to gain proficiency in Japanese and are using creative ways to seek to establish relationships with people allowing them to introduce people to Jesus Christ. The Weinhoffers are willing to stand in the gap when needed and serve along with the local church. Their bottom line is to see many Japanese come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and authentic national churches being established.
